Job Description
Job Scope
- Gather user signals and feedback to support the evaluation and improvement of AI features.
- Develop and maintain iOS apps with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Partner with backend and ML engineers on API design and expected system behaviour.
- Tune app performance, memory usage and battery efficiency.
- Uphold high App Store quality, stability and production reliability.
- Design UX patterns for AI interactions, such as loading states, streaming responses, retries and fallbacks.
- Connect AI-powered features to the app through backend APIs.
Requirements
- Familiarity with feature flags or remote configuration tools.
- At least 3 years of iOS development experience with Swift.
- Good grasp of async/await, concurrency and background tasks.
- Experience releasing and maintaining production iOS apps.
- Exposure to Core ML or lightweight on-device ML.
- Practical experience adding AI-powered features to mobile apps.
- Able to design for latency, partial failures and non-deterministic AI outputs.
- Solid skills in iOS performance and memory optimisation.
- Good sense of AI UX patterns and what builds user trust.
