The Company is seeking an experienced Managing Director who can lead refine existing strategies, secure funding, and scale the business.
Candidate must have a stake in the Company.
Job Responsibilities consist of but not limited to as follows:
- Take lead in the the tendering process within the public and private sectors.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of project planning, from initial budgeting and scheduling to implementation and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide strategic leadership and foster a culture of collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, engineers, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals while maintaining a high-performance work environment.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards, while minimizing delays and cost overruns.
- Manage project budgets rigorously by tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and controlling costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality or safety
- Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance by conducting regular site inspections, reviewing plans, and verifying that all requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring their vision and requirements are met, creating a foundation for repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring transparent, effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee business development, client acquisition, and market expansion.
- Oversee the delivery of accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Lead and motivate partners, managers, and staff to achieve company goals. Drive talent development, training, and succession planning. Promote a culture of integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building works, with a preference for public projects experience
Proven ability to manage teams and meet project timelines
Strong crisis management skills
Excellent communication skills and a team player
