Job Title: Managing Director

Position Summary:
The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the company, setting strategic direction, and ensuring the long-term profitability and sustainability of the business. The MD will work closely with the Board of Directors to align operations with the company's mission, vision, and growth objectives. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the Singaporean and regional business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the company's strategic plan in alignment with corporate goals.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all departments.Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Lead and mentor the senior management team to deliver on KPIs and business targets.
Implement effective operational policies and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
Financial Oversight
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions where necessary to ensure profitability and growth.
Report financial and operational performance to the Board.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the key liaison between the Board of Directors and company management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Represent the company at external events, business forums, and industry conferences.Corporate Governance & Compliance
Ensure that the company adheres to the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical business practices.
Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards in Singapore and relevant markets.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a similar MD/CEO/GM role.
Proven track record of driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Deep understanding of Singapore's regulatory, economic, and cultural environment.
Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams across Southeast Asia is a plus.

Financial literacy and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
