Our client is a leading institutional investor with a global mandate across private markets. They manage one of the world's largest infrastructure portfolios spanning direct, co-investment, and fund strategies. Their team partners closely with deal leads, CIOs, and asset allocation specialists to shape investment strategy and drive value creation across regions and sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global deal teams to evaluate infrastructure investment opportunities, including direct deals, co-investments, and thematic platforms.
- Support the CIO and senior management in developing investment strategies, sector roadmaps, and portfolio construction targets.
- Conduct independent assessments of new opportunities, prepare investment papers, and contribute to Investment Committee discussions.
- Lead research on long-term structural trends such as the energy transition, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies impacting private markets.
- Drive portfolio performance tracking, risk assessment, and capital allocation analysis in collaboration with asset management and strategy teams.
Ideal Candidate
- 46 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity, ideally with exposure to infrastructure or real assets.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with demonstrated ability to evaluate complex investment opportunities.
- Strategic thinker with experience in portfolio management, thematic research, and cross-asset capital strategy.
- Confident communicator with the maturity to engage senior stakeholders and global teams.
- Genuine interest in long-term investing, sustainability, and infrastructure innovation.
