Investment Research Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Research Analyst to support the investment, market research, and operational functions at a newly established Family Office. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates or early-career professionals with a strong academic foundation in finance, economics, or related disciplines, and a keen interest in investment research and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Market Research

• Conduct investment research and financial analysis across multiple sectors and asset classes.

• Perform industry and market research, including market trends, competitor benchmarking, and sector analysis.

• Support preparation of investment reports, presentations, and briefing materials.

Data & Financial Analysis

• Collect, organise, and analyse financial and market data.

• Assist in maintaining financial models, databases, and tracking sheets.

• Support senior analysts and management with data-driven insights and research findings.

Operational & Administrative Support

• Assist with administrative and operational tasks related to investment projects.

• Support coordination of meetings, documentation, and reporting.

• Provide general business support functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Academic Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Statistics, or related disciplines.

Experience

• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with internship / entry-level experience in:

• Investment research

• Financial analysis

• Market research

• Consulting

• Banking / finance-related roles

Core Competencies

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Good research, data interpretation, and report-writing abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and methodical.

• Strong learning mindset, proactive, and adaptable.

Communication Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: From SGD 3,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
