Job Description
The intern will support the Investment Products team, covering Unit Trust, Structured Products, and Equities, with a primary focus on business and data analytics. This role involves analyzing product performance, client segmentation, and market trends to drive data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will assist in developing dashboards, conducting competitor benchmarking, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance advisory solutions, platform capabilities, and digital engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Business Analytics:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data related to structured products, equities and unit trusts performance, client segmentation, and sales trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track product P&L, volumes, and key performance indicators for management reviews.
- Perform competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Product & Market Research:
- Support product specialists in reviewing offerings across unit trust products, structured products, and equities.
- Prepare product strategy presentations and market insights for internal stakeholders.
- Digital Transformation & Project Participation:
- Contribute to digital initiatives aimed at improving client engagement and experience.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and data validation for product-related and platform projects.
- Process & Governance Support:
- Help document product workflows, compliance checks, and governance standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with wealth specialists and advisory teams to prepare product communication materials.
- Support internal and external stakeholder engagement through research and reporting.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a recognized university degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Bloomberg, Qlik) is a plus.
- Interest in financial markets, mutual funds, structured products, and equities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
