About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Derivatives & Structured Products Manager to join the Wealth Management team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for developing, pricing, and delivering derivatives and structured investment solutions for wealth management clients, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the bank's structured product platform from product ideation through execution and post-trade follow-up, ensuring products are commercially viable, operationally robust, and fully compliant with regulatory and internal governance standards.
Job Scope
As the Derivatives & Structured Products Manager, you will focus on the design, pricing, marketing, launch, and lifecycle management of OTC derivatives and structured products across multiple asset classes. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, product teams, trading desks, and external partners to provide sophisticated hedging and yield-enhancement solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Price and develop financial solutions across OTC derivatives and structured products, including FX Options, Commodity Derivatives, Equity-linked, Credit-linked, and FX-linked products
- Manage day-to-day business-as-usual activities for derivatives and structured products, including product delivery, client experience, and communication strategies
- Support pre-trade marketing and post-sales efforts, including preparing pitchbooks and participating in client meetings
- Drive the launch of new products, features, and capabilities, including defining product features and go-to-market strategies through Relationship Managers and digital channels
- Ensure end-to-end product readiness and robustness for product sales in line with regulatory requirements and internal bank policies
- Manage relationships with internal and external investment partners, counterparties, and vendors, including negotiations, ongoing relationship management, and agreement preparation
- Work closely with team members to ensure adequate dealing coverage and seamless execution support at all times
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Wealth Management, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to support effective product delivery and governance
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in OTC derivatives and structured products
- Hands-on experience with products such as FX Options, Interest Rate Swaps, Commodity Derivatives, and FX / Bond / Equity-linked structured products
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end structured product lifecycle, including product structuring, pricing, execution, documentation, and post-trade support
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Investments, or a related discipline will be an advantage
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or changing business requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate in Traditional Chinese, as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients across Greater China
