Investment Manager

The Investment Manager drives global growth through M&A, partnerships, market entry, and expansion initiatives. Working closely with the Investment Committee, this role leads international deals from origination to final investment decision while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop international growth strategies through M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Build business plans and financial models, and assess regulatory, geopolitical, and compliance risks tied to international expansion.
• Lead financial, operational, and legal assessments across target markets, including analysis of country-specific policies, trade regulations, and economic environments. Communicate findings and risk reports to senior management.
• Maintain a pipeline of deals and strategic partnerships. Evaluate targets based on growth potential and implementation readiness, and lead negotiations to maximise value and mitigate risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, counterparties, industry organisations, and government entities. Represent the company at international forums and conferences, and provide senior management with regular updates on deal activity.

Requirements

• 7+ years in investments, project finance, economic analysis, or business management
• 3+ years of international experience in the power industry, preferably in business development or greenfield project delivery
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Financial modelling and project management expertise
• Knowledge of energy regulations and emerging power technologies
