A well-established private investment firm with a strong track record across Asia is seeking to appoint an Investment Manager or Investment Director as part of its investment team. The role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end logistics real estate investments, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and portfolio company management teams to drive value creation. This position is suited to an investment professional who combines strong execution capability with the ability to think commercially and operate with a high degree of ownership across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Execution
- Lead and support origination, evaluation, and execution of private equity and growth investments.
- Build and review detailed financial models, investment memoranda, and valuation analyses.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence, coordinating with internal and external advisors.
Portfolio Management & Value Creation
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth plans.
- Monitor portfolio performance, prepare investment updates, and support exit planning and execution.
- Represent the firm on boards or as an observer, where appropriate.
Deal Origination & Market Coverage
- Support sourcing of new investment opportunities through industry relationships, intermediaries, and proprietary channels.
- Develop sector and thematic expertise, contributing to the firm's investment strategy and pipeline development.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with senior investment professionals and partners on deal structuring, negotiations, and investment decisions.
- Engage with co-investors, lenders, advisors, and other external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Typically 612+ years of experience in real estate private equity, growth capital, investment banking, or a related investment role.
- Proven track record of executing transactions and managing investments post-acquisition.
- Experience across multiple sectors and transaction types is advantageous.
Skill Set
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and commercial judgment skills.
- Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a lean, high-performing team.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior management teams and investment committees.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
