Investment Director (M&A | Data Centre Experience Required)

A growing data centre platform is looking for an Investment Director to support its expansion across Asia. This is an opportunity to take ownership of investment opportunities, acquisitions and strategic partnerships within a growing digital infrastructure business.

Responsibilities

• Originate, evaluate and execute data centre investment and M&A opportunities across the region.
• Lead transaction processes, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, structuring and negotiations.
• Assess greenfield and brownfield development opportunities, including land acquisitions, joint ventures and platform investments.
• Evaluate commercial feasibility, market demand, power availability and investment returns.
• Prepare investment proposals and present recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
• Work closely with commercial, development, technical and legal teams to progress transactions from origination through completion.
• Build relationships with data centre operators, developers, investors, advisers and other industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• Direct data centre industry experience is essential, preferably within an operator, developer or investment platform.
• Strong experience in M&A, investments, corporate development or transaction execution.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage investment workstreams and complex transactions.
• Sound understanding of data centre economics, market dynamics and development considerations.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, commercial assessment and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment.
