Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital world. You will work closely with our investment and corporate development team, learning the fundamentals of venture investing, investor relations (IR), and strategic initiatives. You will also play a key role in strengthening our brand awareness and expanding our network among Japanese corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the investment team in market research, deal sourcing, and due diligence
• Assist in preparing investment memos, reports, and portfolio updates
• Contribute to investor relations, including drafting communications and presentations for Limited Partners (LPs)
• Coordinate corporate development initiatives and strategic partnerships with Japanese corporations
• Drive brand awareness and business development activities to strengthen our presence in Japan
• Provide general support for events, meetings, and cross-border initiatives between Singapore and Japan

What You'll Learn

• End-to-end exposure to venture capital investment processes
• Insights into IR and corporate development strategies for a leading VC fund
• Practical experience working with Japanese corporations expanding in Southeast Asia

Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese (native or business level) and English
• Strong interest and experience in venture capital and startups (preferred if in Japan)
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in consulting, finance, or corporate development is a plus
