Job Overview:
An Investment Consultantworks closely with high-net-worth clients to understand their financial goals, assess their risk appetite, and develop tailored investment strategies. They provide expert advice on a wide range of financial products such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, and structured products, and help clients build and manage diversified portfolios. The role also involves monitoring market trends, executing investment transactions, and regularly reviewing portfolio performance to ensure alignment with clients objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
Client Investment Advisory
- Assess clients financial goals, risk appetite, and wealth situation through comprehensive financial analysis.
- Design and recommend customized investment portfolios aligned to the client's profile and market conditions.
Portfolio Management
- Execute trades, rebalance portfolios, and monitor investments on behalf of clients.
- Provide ongoing reviews, performance updates, and ensure portfolios stay aligned with clients changing needs.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated with macroeconomic trends, global markets, and financial products to identify timely opportunities and risks.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships via regular communication, reviews, and advisory support.
- Serve as a trusted financial partner, maintaining high service standards.
Compliance & Internal Collaboration
- Ensure strict adherence to MAS regulations and internal compliance policies.
- Work with internal teams (likely product specialists, legal, compliance, and Taiwan HQ) to deliver a consistent client experience.
- Maintain proper documentation of client interactions and investment activities.
Team Participation
- Contribute to internal meetings, training, and the bank's strategic initiatives in Singapore.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least 10 years in wealth management, preferably with exposure to investment consulting or private banking.
- Solid understanding of investment products (equities, bonds, funds, structured products, etc.) and portfolio management techniques.
- Strong ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, including those at the Taiwan Head Office.
- Holds CACS Paper 1 & 2, which is mandatory for client-facing roles in capital markets under MAS regulations.
