Job Description

This role is to support the Lead of Investment Management in managing investment-related business activities, governance, and fund initiatives. The role combines operational ownership of ILP fund activities with a focus on process enhancement, automation, and support for strategic investment projects. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver efficient investment solutions and improve customer and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day and ad hoc ILP fund activities, including corporate actions, fund changes, closures, dividend declarations, portfolio rebalancing, and fund documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external fund managers to ensure timely and accurate execution of fund-related activities.
  • Maintain fund information, documentation, and customer-facing content across relevant platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance standards.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational enhancements to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and controls to support effective and sustainable operating practices.
  • Support digitalisation, system enhancement, and transformation initiatives, including testing and implementation of process changes.
  • Support the development, launch, and ongoing management of investment products, funds, and investment solutions, including review of product specifications and customer communications.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation activities for new products, fund launches, and system enhancements.
  • Support broader investment initiatives and strategic projects, including index-related business activities and other investment management priorities.
  • Prepare approval papers, management reports, and presentations, and provide fund and product-related support to internal stakeholders, distributors, customers, and external partners.

Working Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment operations, fund administration, investment products, wealth management, asset management, or related financial services functions.
  • Exposure to investment-linked products, unit trusts, mutual funds, or investment operations would be advantageous.
  • Experience in process improvement, automation, system enhancement projects, or UAT would be an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with a self-driven attitude and a keen interest in process improvements and streamlining are welcome to apply.


Education

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
