About The Role

Are you ready to provide overall support in the origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions You will be involved in all stages of transaction execution, from origination to closing.

Our strategically placed offices around the world offer opportunities to work on diverse international mandates providing significant client exposure and impact.

What You Will Do

As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions, participating in all phases from origination to closing.

You will

  • Assist in constructing detailed financial models and performing valuation analyses using Excel and other modeling tools
  • Develop and prepare documents for live M&A and fundraising transactions and business development initiatives
  • Conduct thorough research to gather project-specific information, and synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Lead discussion with clients and participate actively in signing and closing landmark transactions in the region

Basic Qualifications

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in investment banking / corporate finance with leading firms; candidates from the corporate finance department in the Big 4 accounting firms are welcomed to apply
  • Past transaction experience in M&A and fundraising is highly preferred
  • Candidates with a bachelor&aposs or master degree in accounting, business administration, finance or economics will be considered
  • Sound understanding of Corporate Finance principles and methodologies, as well as key fundamental accounting principles
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Additional Southeast Asian language skills (Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai, Vietnamese) is an advantage
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and overall advanced excel skills
  • Basic knowledge or strong interest in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry is preferable
