Your key responsibilities:

  • Origination and execution of investment banking transactions (including M&A and capital markets), within renewables & power, mining and energy sectors

  • Scope for additional exposure to infrastructure verticals

  • Geographical sector remit for Asia, with significant focus for candidate on South East Asia region

  • Participate in and drive marketing efforts, including preparation and delivery of presentations

  • Build valuation models to support client discussions and conduct due diligence

  • Day-to-day handling of transaction execution and related client interaction

  • Attend client meetings

  • Transaction documentation and internal approvals processes

Your skills and experience:

  • At least 6 years of relevant corporate finance experience, including specific experience in at least one vertical within coverage sector

  • Interest to expand own skillset and develop sector knowledge across coverage verticals

  • Highly motivated and self-driven, with ability to multitask and manage transaction teams

  • Strong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to articulate and present to senior-level audiences

  • Strong interest in relevant sectors and energy transition - ability to identify and articular themes across the sector internally and to clients

  • Proven track record of training and mentoring team members
