Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to support our banking and advisory teams. The analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing transaction documents, performing due diligence, and supporting deal execution. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Role ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Modeling- Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and forecasts.
- Analyze company financial statements, industry trends, and market data.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and other investment banking transactions.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic decisions.
Transaction Support & Due Diligence- Assist in due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and legal reviews.
- Prepare presentations, pitch books, and transaction documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and external advisors during transaction execution.
Reporting & Documentation- Maintain accurate and organized records of analyses, models, and transaction materials.
- Generate reports and summaries for senior bankers and clients.
- Monitor transaction progress and update relevant stakeholders regularly.
Collaboration & Strategy Support- Work closely with senior analysts, associates, and managing directors.
- Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to provide analytical support.
- Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business.
- 13 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
- Knowledge of M&A, capital markets, and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- CFA designation or progress toward it is a plus.
