Overview Of Role
This role is based out of Singapore.
We present an informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of strategic M&A and financing solutions.
We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges they face.
Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research into relevant industries to support the wider team's marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information; update industry databases and credentials
- Support in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials for client meetings
- Develop and maintain financial models and conduct valuation analysis
- Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, transaction comps analysis, and LBO-based valuations
- Prepare marketing materials for M&A processes (i.e. information memorandums and management presentations)
- Support the team in coordinating the transaction process both internally and with other adviser(s)
- Work cohesively with colleagues from different offices and time zones to deliver client-centered solutions
Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, economics or related fields with an excellent academic track record
Experience, Skills And Competencies Required
- Having at least 1-3 years of working experience in investment banking, corporate finance or related fields
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; having experience in financial modeling will be a huge plus
- Good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Diligent and committed to excellence
- Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ambitious and capable of delivering results while working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in other Southeast Asian language is a plus
