Job Description

Company Description:

Tin Men Capital is a Singapore-based venture capital firm backing enterprise technology and frontier tech companies digitising the backbone industries of Southeast Asia from manufacturing and logistics to construction, financial services agriculture, and more.

We take a different approach to venture. We make high-conviction investments, work closely with founders from entry to exit, and focus on building enduring, capital-efficient businesses not chasing headlines.

As we continue to scale our portfolio and regional presence, we are looking to bring on a new addition to the Investments Team. Join us as an Investment Associate who will play a core role in how we invest and support our companies.

Our Investment Approach:

We are often seen as contrarians whereas we see ourselves as simply doing what makes sense. In an environment where few funds are investing, let alone expanding, we have made several new and follow-on investments, and our team is growing as a result.

What sets us apart is how we invest. We do not write a cheque and wait for the next board deck. We roll up our sleeves:

  • We lead financing rounds and manage the entire fundraising process through to exit, so founders can focus on building.
  • We bring strategic referrals, channel partnerships, and operational guidance, not just capital.
  • We return as investors when our companies raise follow-on rounds, because we believe in them, not just in the first bet.
  • We make high-conviction, concentrated stakes.

We dig deep, we do the work, and we back founders who can build enduring, capital-efficient businesses not just the ones who can raise the next round.

Portfolio highlights include GlobalTix now the largest tour aggregator in Southeast Asia and cash flow positive backed by Tin Men from seed through Series B. Also Groundup.ai, Ailytics, Hubble, Zipline, and AI Palette (acquired). Three successful exits to date, with more in progress.

  • Track emerging technology trends, public listings, M&A activity, and competitive developments across Tin Men's sectors of focus.
