We are partnering with a private equity fund to hire an Investment Associate to support the evaluation, execution and management of investments across the region. This role is well suited for candidates with a strong M&A execution background who are looking to transition into a buy-side environment with direct investment exposure.
The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and due diligence through to execution and portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Deal execution & analysis
- Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation, and commercial assessment
- Build and review detailed financial models (LBO, operating, scenario analysis)
- Assist in due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors, management teams, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare investment committee materials and transaction documentation
Transaction support
- Play an active role in M&A execution, including structuring, negotiations, and deal documentation
- Support transaction processes from initial evaluation through to completion
Portfolio support
- Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Support add-on acquisitions, refinancings, and exit processes
Market & sector work
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify themes and potential opportunities
- Track comparable transactions, valuations, and market trends
Requirements
- 25+ years of relevant experience, ideally from investment banking (M&A), corporate development, or transaction advisory
- Demonstrated hands-on M&A execution experience
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Ability to think commercially and assess risk and return
- High attention to detail with strong work ethic
- Confident communicator able to engage with senior stakeholders
