Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1) Investment Research

.Perform fundamental research on individual equities

.Produce research reports

.Perform ad-hoc research as requested by InvesCo / stakeholders.

2) Portfolio Monitoring

.Conduct ongoing monitoring of existing holdings.

3) Performance Reporting

.Produce monthly performance reports for relevant portfolios/funds vs benchmarks and explain drivers of out/underperformance.

4) Investor Communications

.Produce investment write-ups and support the Investment Call process.

.Draft quarterly fund commentaries for our advised funds to be sent to the fund managers as their investment advisers.

.Draft quarterly letters for Unicorn clients.

5) Advised Funds support

.Produce monthly reports for the advised funds.

.Support trade recommendations and analysis work for our advised funds.

6) Build & Manage the Analyst/Research Bench

.Help build the analyst team

7) Training & Knowledge Sharing

.Deliver investment trainings for the financial consultants

.Support internal investing initiatives (e.g., Unicorn's Investing Club).

Requirements

.Strong grounding in fundamental analysis (business quality, financials, valuation) and investment writing/presentation.

.An investor (preferable)

.High ownership: Proactive to work alongside and support the CIO to build the investment team and investment portfolios. Willingness to work beyond regular work hours to accomplish key missions.

.Humble: Keen interest to progress personally and professionally.

.Responsible: Able to run recurring deliverables reliably while handling ad-hoc requests

Key Deliverables

.Quarterly: Advised Funds commentaries, Investor letters, investment trainings, supporting internal investing initiatives

.Monthly: Performance reports, Advised Funds reports

.Weekly: Research reports, portfolio monitoring reports, research team management

.Ad-hoc: Investment call write-ups, trade support
