Investment Analyst, Private Investment Office (Singapore) (CLOSED)

A private investment office is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to support portfolio monitoring, manager due diligence, and investment research across traditional and alternative asset classes. The role reports to the Head of Investments and supports portfolio oversight for a sophisticated multi-asset platform.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor portfolio exposure, asset allocation, and investment performance
• Conduct regular reviews of public and private market valuations
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance and allocation reports
• Monitor downside risks to support capital preservation objectives

Manager Selection & Due Diligence

• Conduct research and due diligence on asset managers and investment products
• Support evaluation, rebalancing, and termination/appointment of managers
• Participate in meetings with prospective managers and investment providers
• Monitor discretionary mandates and external managers

Investment Research & Strategy

• Assist in preparing investment proposals and portfolio recommendations
• Conduct market research and support tactical asset allocation updates
• Generate ideas for direct investments and internal portfolios
• Present investment insights and competitive analysis to senior stakeholders

Stakeholder & Reporting Support

• Prepare periodic investment reports and presentations
• Provide updates to family stakeholders on managed portfolios
• Maintain strong relationships within the investment community

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in investment banking, asset management, audit, or brokerage
• Strong financial modelling and Excel proficiency (Bloomberg or equivalent tools preferred)
• Solid understanding of portfolio management, asset classes, trading and settlement processes
• High ethical standards and strong discretion handling confidential information
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work both independently and within a team
