We are seeking a high-calibre Investment Analyst/Manager to support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of private equity and private credit investments, including fund commitments and co-investments. The role includes both private equity and private credit investments across the U.S., Europe and Asia.

The successful candidate will play a leading analytical role in private credit mandates, including GP evaluation, co-investment underwriting, and transaction execution, working closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment process. The position sits within a lean, high-responsibility investment environment and offers close exposure to senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manager Due Diligence

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative due diligence on private equity and private credit managers, including strategy assessment, track record analysis, team evaluation, fund terms, and alignment of interests.
  • Conduct comparative analysis across managers and strategies to support fund selection and portfolio fit.
  • Map the private equity and private credit landscape, identify priority sectors, strategies, and managers, and support proactive sourcing of fund and co-investment opportunities

2. Co-Investment Underwriting

  • Underwrite private equity and private credit co-investment opportunities alongside lead GPs, including building and reviewing LBO and credit models, downside cases, and risk-return assessments.
  • Evaluate transaction structures, key risks, and sensitivities in collaboration with senior investment professionals.

3. Transaction Execution

  • Support execution of fund commitments and co-investment transactions, including review and negotiation of term sheets, fund documentation, and co-investment agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, risk, middle and back office) and external advisors to ensure disciplined and timely execution.

4. Investment Committee Support

  • Prepare clear, high-quality investment committee memoranda and presentation materials, synthesising analysis, risks, and recommendations.
  • Support senior team members during investment committee discussions and follow-ups.

5. Portfolio Monitoring

  • Monitor portfolio performance, exposures, cash flows, and covenant compliance; support portfolio construction, pacing, and ongoing portfolio reviews.
  • Participate in GP meetings, reference calls, and ongoing relationship management.

Requirements

1. Qualifications

  • 37 years of relevant experience in private equity, private credit, fund-of-funds, secondaries, investment banking, or a related buy-side or advisory role.
  • Exposure to private credit investing strongly preferred, with a working understanding of the global private credit landscape, key strategies, and major platforms.
  • Experience supporting investment evaluation, underwriting, or execution across funds, co-investments, and/or direct investments.

2. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, including LBO, credit, and fund-level cash flow and return analysis.
  • Ability to conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative due diligence and synthesise findings into clear investment perspectives.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality investment materials for senior stakeholders.

3. Personal Characteristics

  • Strong ownership mindset with sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, high-responsibility environment, with the ability to independently drive workstreams while collaborating closely with senior team members.
  • Intellectual curiosity, discipline, and a long-term orientation aligned with PEAM's investment philosophy.
