About the Role
We are seeking a high-calibre Investment Analyst/Manager to support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of private equity and private credit investments, including fund commitments and co-investments. The role includes both private equity and private credit investments across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
The successful candidate will play a leading analytical role in private credit mandates, including GP evaluation, co-investment underwriting, and transaction execution, working closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment process. The position sits within a lean, high-responsibility investment environment and offers close exposure to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manager Due Diligence
- Lead qualitative and quantitative due diligence on private equity and private credit managers, including strategy assessment, track record analysis, team evaluation, fund terms, and alignment of interests.
- Conduct comparative analysis across managers and strategies to support fund selection and portfolio fit.
- Map the private equity and private credit landscape, identify priority sectors, strategies, and managers, and support proactive sourcing of fund and co-investment opportunities
2. Co-Investment Underwriting
- Underwrite private equity and private credit co-investment opportunities alongside lead GPs, including building and reviewing LBO and credit models, downside cases, and risk-return assessments.
- Evaluate transaction structures, key risks, and sensitivities in collaboration with senior investment professionals.
3. Transaction Execution
- Support execution of fund commitments and co-investment transactions, including review and negotiation of term sheets, fund documentation, and co-investment agreements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, risk, middle and back office) and external advisors to ensure disciplined and timely execution.
4. Investment Committee Support
- Prepare clear, high-quality investment committee memoranda and presentation materials, synthesising analysis, risks, and recommendations.
- Support senior team members during investment committee discussions and follow-ups.
5. Portfolio Monitoring
- Monitor portfolio performance, exposures, cash flows, and covenant compliance; support portfolio construction, pacing, and ongoing portfolio reviews.
- Participate in GP meetings, reference calls, and ongoing relationship management.
Requirements
1. Qualifications
- 37 years of relevant experience in private equity, private credit, fund-of-funds, secondaries, investment banking, or a related buy-side or advisory role.
- Exposure to private credit investing strongly preferred, with a working understanding of the global private credit landscape, key strategies, and major platforms.
- Experience supporting investment evaluation, underwriting, or execution across funds, co-investments, and/or direct investments.
2. Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, including LBO, credit, and fund-level cash flow and return analysis.
- Ability to conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative due diligence and synthesise findings into clear investment perspectives.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality investment materials for senior stakeholders.
