Responsibilities
- To support the execution of M&A transactions, divestments, strategic alliances, and capital raising activities.
- Perform in-depth financial, commercial, industry, and market research to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models, including valuation analyses such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Able to prepare transaction-related materials including teasers, confidential information memoranda management presentations, investor target lists, pitch books, and client proposals.
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee papers, internal memoranda, and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate due diligence activities and manage data rooms in collaboration with clients, investors, legal counsel, accountants, and other external advisors.
- Track transaction timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Support business development and origination efforts through research on target companies, industries, and potential investors.
- Contribute to thought leadership content and market publications to strengthen client engagement and brand visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or management consulting is preferred.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, valuation techniques, and M&A transaction processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling.
