Our client is a multi-million family office based in Singapore and they are currently looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investment Monitoring: Regularly track exposure, tactical asset allocation, and performance of public market investments
- Valuation Oversight: Conduct daily/weekly assessments of asset valuations by custodians and funds
- Performance Snapshots: Compile weekly updates on asset allocation and performance across all investments
- Manager Evaluation: Assist in evaluating investment managers, recommending changes to align with investment policy goals
- Risk Monitoring: Keep track of downside risk in portfolios to ensure capital preservation for Beneficial Owners
- Research and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough research on potential new asset managers and investment products
- Manager Selection: Collaborate with the Investment Manager and CEO for selecting and evaluating managers across asset classes
- Reporting: Produce periodic performance reports and presentations to inform stakeholders.
- Market Updates: Regularly provide updates on market and stock views, as well as internal discretionary portfolios
- Networking and Strategy Analysis: Build relationships in the investment community to access top research and investigate competitive investment strategies
Job Requirements:
- Min 2 - 3 years of working experience in audit/corporate finance with exposure to funds
- High accuracy and details in work
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Possess a strong grasp of financial and investment concepts, including capital markets, asset classes, portfolio management processes, risk-adjusted returns
