Job Summary
You will lead investment sourcing, evaluation, and portfolio support focused on consumer technology and brands in Southeast Asia, driving growth and expanding BEENEXT's founder and investor network.
Responsibilities
- Identify investment trends and opportunities in Southeast Asia using unique deal-sourcing methods focused on consumer technology, retail technology, and consumer brands
- Conduct thorough market research and due diligence to evaluate potential investments in Southeast Asia
- Support portfolio companies in developing and executing business plans and securing future funding
- Develop and expand BEENEXT's network within the founder and investor ecosystem to enhance deal flow and partnership opportunities
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess investment risks and opportunities, enabling sound judgment in decision-making
- Communicate investment insights clearly and structure complex problems to support strategic recommendations
- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with founders and stakeholders through effective interpersonal engagement
- Demonstrate high ownership and attention to detail while operating efficiently in a lean environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth startups
- Genuine interest in investments, consumer markets, technology, and the Southeast Asia startup ecosystem
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
