We are seeking an experienced, motivated Investment Manager with 3-5 years of relevant investment experience to join our Singapore office. This is a client-facing role involving direct interaction with high-net-worth clients to provide holistic investment advice and support portfolio management in line with client objectives. The role requires collaboration with Relationship Managers and the investment team to deliver tailored investment solutions across multiple asset classes including traditional and alternative investments.
Investment Research & Analysis:
. Conduct comprehensive fundamental and quantitative analysis across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and structured products
. Perform in-depth company and sector research, building detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
. Monitor global macroeconomic trends, market developments, and their impact on portfolio positioning
. Prepare investment memos, research reports, and presentation materials for internal investment committees
. Support tactical asset allocation decisions through rigorous analytical frameworks
. Participate in regular investment committee meetings, presenting research findings and investment recommendations
. Contribute to the development of investment themes, strategic asset allocation, and portfolio construction methodologies
. Collaborate with Singapore and India-based teams to ensure consistent investment approach across all client portfolios
. Support special projects related to new investment strategies, product evaluation, and process enhancement
Portfolio Management Support:
. Assist portfolio managers & RMs in construction, monitoring, and rebalancing of multi-asset portfolios across different client mandates
. Monitor clients asset allocation across investments and provide ideas for rebalancing across product spectrum based on CIO view
. Conduct performance attribution analysis and risk assessment across portfolios
. Assist portfolio managers & RMs in regular (monthly, quarterly) investment and business reviews with assigned clients and relevant internal partners, highlighting and filling any gaps where required
. Support due diligence processes for external fund managers, alternative investments, and structured products
. Monitor portfolio exposures, compliance parameters, and risk metrics in accordance with investment guidelines
Operational Excellence:
. Maintain investment databases, research files, and analytical models with high accuracy and attention to detail
. Ensure compliance with internal investment policies and relevant regulatory requirements
. Work closely with operations, compliance, and risk management teams to support seamless investment processes
. Contribute to the continuous improvement of investment research processes and analytical tools
Education & Professional Credentials:
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution
. Advanced degree (MBA/MSc Finance) from a reputable institution is preferred
. CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA/MBA/advanced qualification preferred but not mandatory
Professional Experience:
. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant investment experience in buy-side/sell-side investment management, equity research, or portfolio management.
. Proven experience in portfolio construction and asset allocation with knowledge and understanding of private clients and U/HNWI client needs is highly preferred
. Experience with alternative investments, private markets, or structured products is advantageous
Technical Skills & Competencies:
. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis
. Proficiency in Excel skills with experience in Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial data platforms
. Strong understanding of global financial markets, investment products, and portfolio construction principles
. Knowledge of risk management frameworks, performance measurement, and attribution analysis
. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Singapore and India is preferred
