Job Description

LOCATION: Singapore Regional Office

FUNCTION: Merchandising

TEAM: Merchandising

LINE MANAGER: Head of Merchandising APAC

KPIs: Sales, Stock to Sales, R&D

As the Inventory Manager for Singapore, you will lead regional inventory optimisation to drive both short‑term commercial impact and long‑term strategic capability. You will shape allocation parameters, stock balancing strategies, inventory flow forecasting, and warehouse network optimisation, while supporting the development and execution of the regional Commercial Plan.

Positioned at the heart of Merchandising and working closely with Regional Logistics, Global Inventory teams, and COS global support functions, you will help build a faster, more agile, and customer‑centric supply chain. Your work will determine how product moves across the region—ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time—while strengthening collaboration across channels, functions, and markets to support COS's long‑term growth

What you will do:

  • Inventory Optimization: You will set and follow up on inventory targets across warehouses and stores, ensuring strong replenishment for each store segment. You will define delivery schedules with Logistics, monitor warehouse stock composition and SKU forecasts, and drive improvements in store stock accuracy through RFID routines. Together with Planning, Merchandising, and Logistics, you will steer Activity Planning, back-stocking, and storage management, while shaping the external exit strategy for regional inventory in collaboration with global teams. You will also optimise inventory to support profitable omni sales, ensuring stock-to-sales goals are achieved and leading the rebalancing of omni stock to maximise availability and minimise risk across channels.

  • Allocation: You will define the strategy, ways of working and execution standards for initial allocation parameters, ensuring they are always correctly set. You'll establish the framework for product allocation across all store formats to secure an optimal stock flow in collaboration with Omni Merchandise Managers.

  • Garment Flow Planning: You will act as a key partner to Logistics, identifying supply-chain constraints and drivers that impact sales. You'll forecast inbound and outbound garment flows to support both logistics and store planning and set the framework for article prioritization to ensure the most commercial product reaches stores at the right time. You will also support the concept teams with capacity planning.

  • Informal leadership & Development of Team: You will provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the team exceeds performance and are a pivotal member of the Merchandising Team.
