Tiong Lian Food Pte Ltd, a leading food processing, manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Executive to join our team. This full-time role will be responsible for managing and monitoring the company's inventory , ensuring efficient stock management and timely delivery to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels across multiple warehouses
- Coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align inventory with demand and optimize stock levels
- Analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to minimize stock wastage and improve inventory turnover
- Conducting regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation
- Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective measures
- Assisting with the implementation of new inventory management systems and processes
- Providing timely and accurate inventory reports to management
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an inventory management or supply chain role in the food manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and act on inventory data
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Navision (or similar ERP software) and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
