Job Description:

Control inventory accuracy: Support and oversee overall inventory accuracy while helping drive operational standards and SOPs.
Manage inventory discrepancies: Monitor discrepancy trends, identify root causes, and expedite reconciliation between system records and physical stock.
Prevent inventory loss: Develop and support measures to prevent inventory loss, damage, and misplacement.
Drive the cycle-count plan: Ensure the team completes daily, weekly, and monthly counts on schedule and with a high level of accuracy.
Review and close variance cases: Review count variances, follow up on investigations, and ensure cases are properly resolved and closed.
Improve operational productivity: Enhance team productivity, minimize disruption to warehouse operations, and coordinate with Operations to ensure counts do not interfere with core workflows.
Proactively troubleshoot inventory issues: Support the team in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, outbound stock shortages or overages, and system inventory issues.
Expedite incident resolution: Work closely with Operations and System Support to track and close inventory incidents within the required aging targets.
Implement preventive measures: Develop measures to reduce recurring inventory issues.
Control surplus inventory: Oversee the identification, tracking, and management of surplus stock in accordance with company policies.
Analyze and improve inventory health: Monitor surplus levels, investigate root causes, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to reduce unnecessary excess stock in the warehouse.
Lead and develop the team: Manage, coach, and develop the Cycle Count, Troubleshooting, and Surplus teams contribute to KPI setting and manage manpower and shift planning.
Coordinate across functions: Serve as a key liaison among Operations, Outbound, and System Support to resolve inventory issues and improve cross-functional processes.
Analyze data and prepare reports: Report on inventory trends, significant discrepancy metrics, and operational risks to warehouse leadership.
Drive long-term improvements: Use data to identify process gaps and recommend optimization initiatives, while supporting warehouse audits to ensure compliance with company requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Supervisory experience overseeing operational teams is a plus.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Leadership: Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members across Cycle Count, Troubleshooting, and Surplus functions.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze inventory data and discrepancy trends, and accurately identify root causes.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve immediate operational issues and effectively address inventory discrepancies in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with Operations, Outbound, and System Support teams.
