About the Role
UNIQLO Singapore is looking for an Inventory Control Executive to be responsible for the monitoring of the daily product inventory amount in the warehouse and stores, ensuring that allocation of product to retail stores is carried out smoothly. The role will also provide feedback to the sales and merchandising team to ensure that there is no shortage of products at stores down to each SKU level. S/he will also communicate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any issues in store to maximize company profits and achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Create the best shop floor for customers through the management of inventory, merchandise mix and SKU.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure sufficient stocks in all 29 retail stores without overstocking.
- Overseeing of inventory movements for new/renovating stores.
- Prevent stock shortages and excess inventory by constantly collaborating with different departments for stock movement and placement.
- Analyze demand trends and historical data to forecast inventory needs.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to replenish stock based on demand.
- Able to make 2 months, 1 month, weekly and daily plans to ensure Inventory optimization.
- Resolve any inventory issues in a timely manner.
- Ensuring past season items can be sold out timely and ensure no out-of-stock situations for all top selling items to support customer satisfaction.
- Day to day support for the retail operation team to meet the demand for each individual store.
- Under the supervision of department head / leaders, they are able to visit stores and provide solutions to help current stores challenges.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years experience in Inventory control or in the retail industry.
- Background in Retail fashion operation will be an advantage.
- Team player, proactive and adaptable, with ability to take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and still produce positive results.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Intermediate to advance proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
