As an integral part of Infineon's global corporate strategy, we at the Strategy and Market Development team are keenly focused on the fast-paced Asian markets, and are actively developing Infineon's presence in the key growth markets. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated interns to support our market / business intelligence research and strategy development activities.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Undertake responsibilities that involve a blend of desk and field research
- Collect, clean and analyze quantitative data to develop critical insights and pragmatic data solutions and you'll source, scrub and join relevant public, commercial, and proprietary data sources
- Apply your deep technical knowledge of machine learning to identify insights and patterns using traditional as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics
- Design and create advanced predictive models such as support vector machines, neural networks, decision trees, etc., to allow more informed business decision
Internship Learning Outcomes:
- The internship provides an unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the strategy function of a DAX-30 multinational company, with specific learning related to the various Asia Pacific market segments for semiconductors and electronics.
- By the end of the internship, candidates will have worked on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in several areas: Project management, working with team members across various locations and functions
- Exposure to business intelligence research and data gathering through online and offline sources, including desk research and interactions with various stakeholders
- Exposure to Data analysis and correlation with operational and strategic business outcomes
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree student in Business Administration, IT / Computer Science & Computer Engineering, Economics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Strong analytical skills
- Able to work independently and proactively
- Able to commit for 6 months. Candidates with shorter availability period are welcome to apply
