About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Marketing Director to lead our global marketing, branding, and business development initiatives in the marine fuel trading, gas, bunkering, and energy sectors.
This pivotal role will focus on expanding into new markets, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the company as a leading provider of marine fuels and integrated energy solutions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international marketing and growth strategies for marine fuel trading, gas, bunkering, and energy segments.
- Identify and establish new markets and strategic partnerships across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and emerging maritime hubs.
- Lead market research, competitor intelligence, and pricing analysis to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
- Manage global branding, communication, and digital marketing initiatives to enhance corporate visibility and reputation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, operations, and supply chain teams to align marketing objectives with commercial targets.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and maritime industry conferences.
- Oversee development of marketing materials, client proposals, and promotional campaigns.
- Track performance metrics, client acquisition data, and marketing ROI for continuous improvement and strategic refinement.
Requirements
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field - ideally one that supports advancement into senior management and strategic roles.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in fuel trading, bunkering, oil & gas marketing, or marine energy sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of global bunkering, marine fuels markets, and energy logistics.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated track record in new market development and client acquisition across multiple regions.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
- Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to marketing execution and partnership development.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
- Flexibility: Prepared to work on weekends and public holidays, if required by business needs.
