International Bank VP Compliance Assurance

Established international bank looking to hire a leadership role that will manage a small team to perform compliance assurance across the APAC region for both the private banking and corporate/investment banking businesses.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Design and carry out the annual compliance assurance plan focusing on high-risk areas.
• Perform risk-based compliance assurance activity to validate controls in place are effective and robust.
• Communicate findings through compliance assurance reports and assist in closing gaps to ensure effective compliance risk management.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• 10 years or more compliance assurance experience from the banking industry.
• Candidates with a strong understanding of AML risks or AML Assurance background from private banking will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholders management skills.
• Experience managing team(s) preferred but not a must.
