Internal Auditor (Education Industry) - East - WCDT

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to help review our processes, strengthen controls, and support management with analysis and reporting. This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy working with data, identifying risks, and improving business operations.

Job Responsibilities

Internal Audit

• Plan and carry out financial, operational, and compliance audits

• Review processes and internal controls to ensure policies and procedures are followed

• Identify risks, analyse findings, and prepare clear audit reports

• Provide practical recommendations to improve efficiency and control effectiveness

• Assist with special audit or investigation assignments when required

Analysis & Reporting

• Support the preparation and consolidation of management and board reports

• Assist in analysing business performance and project feasibility to support decision-making

Other Duties

• Perform ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Careful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large amounts of data

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a positive learning attitude

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Basic understanding of auditing principles and compliance requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field

• At least 2 years of audit experience is preferred
