Our client, a US listed multinational corporation with strong growth momentum, is seeking a highly calibre Internal Audit professional to join their Global Internal Audit team. This role will have significant exposure to senior management and international stakeholders, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across global operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex operational audits across regions and business units.
  • Present findings and recommendations confidently to senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor audit team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams internationally, navigating ambiguity and challenging the status quo to drive improvements.
  • Contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption and SOX-related initiatives.
  • Travel approximately 30-40% internationally, depending on project requirements.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading an audit function within a complex organization, ideally with Sales & Trading as well as Manufacturing Cycles
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (SOX, GAAP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Stable and progressive career history
