Job Overview:
We are looking for a Trading Department Intern to support our trading operations with a strong focus on data analysis, market research, and cocoa industry training reviews. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in commodity trading, market monitoring, and industry insights.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis on market trends, trading activities, and cocoa price movements.
- Assist in monitoring cocoa market developments and compiling relevant market intelligence.
- Support the trading team in preparing reports and presentations related to commodity trading.
- Participate in and review Cocoa Guru Training programs, summarizing key takeaways and industry insights.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing hedging positions, pricing, and procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline trading operations and improve efficiency.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks related to market research, data management, and administrative support.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and data analysis abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with Excel, data visualization tools, or financial modeling is an advantage.
- Interest in commodity markets, particularly cocoa trading.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
