The Position

The Medical Chapter Intern will provide essential support to the Medical Chapter and assist various Disease Area (DA) teams. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs, focusing on foundational work, project coordination, and the integration of medical strategy with commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disease Area Team Support: Provide project and administrative support to designated DA teams (e.g., Oncology, Neuroscience), focusing on local medical initiatives and foundational work.

  • Medical Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of medical activities and events, such as internal meetings, workshops (e.g., RWE workshops), and external congress logistics (e.g., ESMO Asia coordination and documentation/POs).

  • Process and Compliance Assistance: Help with administrative tasks related to medical governance and compliance, including tracking and coordinating the approval of medical materials in relevant systems (e.g., Veeva approvals).

  • Strategic & Market Support: Contribute to the development of early-stage projects or business cases by conducting market analysis, competitive research, and literature reviews to support medical and commercial collaboration (e.g., new product launch considerations).

  • Chapter Operations: Support the Medical Chapter with organizational tasks, such as tracking team goals and assisting with planning for team meetings and development sessions.
