Intern - Molding & Tooling Production Operation

To support MTSU LS1 team by executing strategic projects that enhance productivity, drive automation, and improve product quality. The production intern will work on initiatives that optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and implement innovative solutions aligned with operational excellence.

. Assist in planning and executing productivity improvement projects within the MTSU area.

. Conduct research and feasibility studies for automation opportunities.

. Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.

. Support quality improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance) to implement project deliverables.

. Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for management review.
