- Policy Development
- Research best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., WSH Guidelines, Singapore Standards
- Draft equipment policy guidelines covering safety, operational boundaries, and enforcement
- Define categories and criteria for acceptable mechanical equipment
- Approval Process Design
- Map out workflows for equipment registration and approval
- Propose digital forms/checklists for equipment submission and documentation
- Identify roles and responsibilities for approvals and escalations
- System Testing & Implementation
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system roll out, and users engagement.
- Assist in the development of a centralised system for tracking registered equipment, expiry dates, and inspection history.
- Project Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, templates, and policies
- Support in preparing materials for external & internal briefings.
- Mechanical Enhancement Trials
- Participate in pilot trials involving mechanical enhancements to forklifts and other port equipment
- Assist in documenting trial objectives, capturing observations, and consolidating operational feedback
