  • Policy Development
  • Research best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., WSH Guidelines, Singapore Standards
  • Draft equipment policy guidelines covering safety, operational boundaries, and enforcement
  • Define categories and criteria for acceptable mechanical equipment
  • Approval Process Design
  • Map out workflows for equipment registration and approval
  • Propose digital forms/checklists for equipment submission and documentation
  • Identify roles and responsibilities for approvals and escalations
  • System Testing & Implementation
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system roll out, and users engagement.
  • Assist in the development of a centralised system for tracking registered equipment, expiry dates, and inspection history.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, templates, and policies
  • Support in preparing materials for external & internal briefings.
  • Mechanical Enhancement Trials
  • Participate in pilot trials involving mechanical enhancements to forklifts and other port equipment
  • Assist in documenting trial objectives, capturing observations, and consolidating operational feedback
