Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in Design Development: Support the creation of detailed illustrations and design concepts, guided by experienced designers to supplement existing guidelines.
- Collaborative Design Refinement: Work alongside global teams to refine and improve design solutions, with mentorship from your supervisor.
- Participate in Professional Meetings: Engage in meetings and presentations, learning from feedback and insights shared by industry professionals.
- Material & Furnishing Research: Assist in researching and sourcing suitable materials and furnishings, gaining knowledge in design selection and application.
- Project Assistance and Support: Participate and engage in diverse ad-hoc projects within the lyf team, collaborating across cross-functional activities, roles, and responsibilities to enhance your learning experience throughout the internship.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design or equivalent.
- Interest in hospitality design and planning is a bonus.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Strong understanding of design principles and interior architecture.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Creative with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus.
