Project Title

Procurement & Integration Planning for a SaaS Based Vulnerability Assessment Platform

Project Description

To enhance security maturity and operational efficiency, ITSS is planning to transition to a modern SaaSbased VA solution. The intern will contribute to the early and mid phase activities leading to the selection and integration of the new tool. These include:

  • Mapping A.STAR's infrastructure and systems to define VA scope
  • Analysing historical VA data to identify trends, coverage gaps, and priority areas
  • Assisting in drafting evaluation matrices and technical requirements for procurement
  • Preparing integration planning materials for eventual tool onboarding
  • Supporting documentation, SOP development, and compliance alignment

This project offers meaningful exposure to cybersecurity operations, procurement governance, and enterprise scale technology planning.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, CVEs, scanning tools)
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with technical datasets
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Power BI for reporting
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Interest in enterprise security tools and cloud services
