Key Roles And Responsibilities

Work on the various assigned task(s) for specific projects within the Group Tax function:

Tax Automation

  • Assist in the collation and preparation of financial data which includes working with Finance Teams to compile, reconcile, organise, and map financial data from different sources.
  • Assist project lead from Group Tax and work together with Finance Teams to transform financial data recording to enable automation for tax processes.
  • Assist project lead from Group Tax and work together with external consultants in the development and implementation of tax automation solutions.
  • Provide ad hoc support on any other tax automation tasks which may include coordination and analysis work as assigned.

BEPS 2.0 (Pillar Two)

  • Assist in preparation of internal summaries and training materials on key BEPS 2.0 concepts (e.g., GloBE Income, Effective Tax Rate, Top-Up Tax, QDMTT) to support internal awareness and alignment.
  • Assist with data collection work, including validation and cleansing for Pillar Two compliance (as guided) and data mapping of general ledger (GL) accounts (tagging of GloBE-relevant financial data).
  • Assist to organise and maintain the repository of BEPS-related documentation, working files, and audit trail materials as required.
  • Provide ad hoc support on any other BEPS 2.0 implementation activities which may include research tasks, coordination and analysis, as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Background in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications, i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Strong interest in tax, finance, data analytics or automating business processes.
  • Detail-oriented, good with number and comfortable working with high volume of data.
  • Basis knowledge of tax functions and regulations.
  • Strong research and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks independently and work with sensitive data discreetly.
