Role Purpose(s)
As an E-Learning Designer & Developer Intern, you will support the Technical Learning & Development team in designing and developing engaging digital learning solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in instructional design, e-learning authoring tools, and multimedia integration while working closely with experienced designers and subject matter experts (SMEs).
Key Accountabilities
- Support the design and development of engaging digital learning solutions aligned with instructional design principles.
- Contribute to the creation of interactive and learner-centric e-learning modules.
- Assist in enhancing learner engagement through multimedia and interactive learning elements.
- Support quality assurance efforts to ensure e-learning modules meet usability, accessibility, and technical standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement of digital learning content and development practices.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist in developing course outlines, storyboards, and scripts under the guidance of the instructional designer or project lead.
- Support the development of e-learning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Help integrate multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video, and animations) to enhance learner engagement.
- Explore and propose creative learning approaches such as gamification, branching scenarios, and interactive exercises.
- Contribute to applying accessibility, usability, and user experience (UX) best practices in e-learning design.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting e-learning modules prior to deployment.
- Gain exposure to SCORM/xAPI standards and support course deployment on the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide feedback, ideas, and suggestions to improve learning content and user experience.

Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, ICT or related field.
Working Experience Requirements
Skills Required
Must-have skills
- Basic familiarity with digital content creation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, video editing tools).
- Interest in digital learning, instructional design, or educational technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance from project leads or mentors.
Preferable skills
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of multimedia tools (graphics, video, audio editing) is an advantage.
- Creative with an eye for visual design and learner engagement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
