ABOUT THE JOB:

We. Communications has an exciting internship opportunity within our regional Corporate Advisory Team, providing hands-on experience across key areas of strategic communications including reputation management, sustainability communications and financial communications and investor relations.

As an intern, you will support a range of client engagements from media relations and content development to stakeholder communications and issues monitoring. You will work alongside experienced senior consultants on high-impact projects, gaining valuable insight into the evolving communications landscape while sharpening your strategic thinking and storytelling skills.

You'll be immersed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can learn more about your strengths, contribute meaningfully and grow with mentorship from experienced consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the preparation of a variety of corporate communications materials, including media releases, executive messages, company fact sheets, leadership bios, and corporate statements.
  • Conduct media monitoring tasks, issues tracking, and reputation analysis to support clients during business-as-usual and high-sensitivity moments.
  • Perform in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, competitor positioning, stakeholder perceptions, and communications best practices.
  • Translate complex corporate data into clear, insightful summaries and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare media coverage reports and competitor benchmarking to assess client visibility and share of voice.
  • Support the creation and planning of digital content as part of broader communications strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of research, market insights, and content for new business development efforts.
  • Coordinate logistics for client engagements such as media briefings, executive interviews, analyst calls, and corporate events.
  • Provide ad-hoc project support and contributing to a wide range of team initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date media contact lists and industry analyst directories to support targeted outreach across corporate and B2B audiences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Degree or Diploma in a relevant study area including business studies, international affairs, liberal arts, marketing and communications or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in media and current affairs.
  • Familiar with LinkedIn, X and Canva
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, especially for supporting clients and projects across diverse markets.
