Key Roles And Responsibilities

As part of the Sustainable Assets (Innovation) team, you will help build the digital backbone that supports data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role offers exposure to business intelligence, AI-enabled productivity tools, data analytics, dashboard development and management reporting. You will work closely with business stakeholders to structure information, identify trends, generate insights and develop practical digital solutions using Microsoft Copilot and other modern workplace technologies.

The successful candidate will gain unique experience in combining technology, analytics and business strategy to create measurable impact across multiple business functions.

• Business Intelligence Platform & Data Foundations
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of the organisation's Business Intelligence Platform, including the organisation of asset, customer, commercial, project and operational information.
• Assist in structuring, cleaning, standardising and maintaining datasets, data dictionaries, master records and supporting documentation.
• Perform data-quality checks, identify missing or inconsistent information, and coordinate follow-up actions to improve completeness and reliability.
• Help define practical data structures, naming conventions and update processes so information can be consistently reused across analyses, dashboards and reports.
• Analytics, Dashboards & Performance Visibility
• Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, performance gaps, exceptions and emerging areas requiring management attention.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and visual reports that track key business, portfolio, customer, leasing, project and operational indicators.
• Prepare clear visualisations and drill-down analyses that allow users to understand performance at portfolio, asset, customer or project level.
• Support dashboard testing, data refresh checks and continuous improvement to ensure outputs remain accurate, relevant and easy to use.
• Business Insights & Management Pitch
• Assist the Head, Sustainable Assets in preparing presentations, reports, and business cases. Prepare ad hoc management pitch deck for innovation concepts, presentation materials, briefing notes and executive summaries.
• Convert data and analysis into concise business insights, implications and recommended follow-up actions for the team and management.
• Monitor relevant business and market developments, consolidate information from internal and approved external sources, and highlight meaningful trends or opportunities.
• Support management discussions by presenting information in a structured, decision-oriented format and maintaining a consistent reporting narrative across outputs.
• Copilot, CoWork & Digital Workflows
• Use Microsoft 365 Copilot and approved collaborative AI workspaces, including CoWork where available, to retrieve, synthesise and analyse information across documents, data sources and team workflows.
• Develop and maintain reusable prompts, templates and structured workspaces for research, analysis, reporting, meeting preparation and knowledge management.
• Assist in designing repeatable digital workflows that reduce manual effort, improve consistency and enable faster access to relevant information.
• Test new digital use cases, validate AI-generated outputs against source information, document user requirements and incorporate feedback from the team.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with a strong interest in business intelligence, digital tools and data-driven decision-making.
• Relevant academic, internship or project experience in industrial parks, real estate/property, infrastructure or sustainability would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with business acumen
• Ability to synthesize technical data into clear insights and visuals
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or comparable business intelligence and data-visualisation tools.
• Practical understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot, prompt development, cross-document synthesis and AI-assisted analysis.
• Familiarity with CoWork, Copilot Pages, Copilot Notebooks or similar collaborative AI workspaces would be advantageous.
• Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Lists, Forms and Power Automate for collaboration, data capture and workflow automation.
• Basic understanding of databases, data structures and data governance; knowledge of SQL, Python or other analytical tools would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking and sound judgement when validating data and AI-generated outputs.
• Good written and visual communication skills, with the ability to present complex information concisely.
• Awareness of confidentiality, access controls, information security, data privacy and responsible AI requirements.
