About AnchorBridge Capital

AnchorBridge Capital is a Singapore-based investment manager specializing in private credit strategies within the maritime sector. We bridge the multi-billion dollar financing gap required for the industry's energy transition, specifically focusing on sustainable ship recycling and decarbonisation retrofits. Led by a team of institutional banking and maritime legal veterans, we offer a unique ground-floor opportunity to experience the launch of a niche private credit fund.

The Role

This hybrid role supports both the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will assist in analyzing the creditworthiness of maritime borrowers and ensuring the operational readiness of the fund's management company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Risk Support:

  • Assist the CRO in performing credit analysis and due diligence on prospective maritime lending opportunities.
  • Support the monitoring of portfolio risk, including tracking vessel asset valuations and shipping market trends.
  • Help prepare credit committee memos and risk assessment reports.

2. Fund Operations:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the fund's bookkeeping and expense tracking alongside our accounting vendors.
  • Manage the investor onboarding process, specifically gathering and reviewing KYC/AML documentation for new Limited Partners.
  • Maintain the digital document depository (Data Room), ensuring all fund legal documents and fact sheets are organized.
  • Support the team with CRM management and ad-hoc operational tasks during the fund launch phase.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in Singapore. (Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, or students currently enrolled in Singaporean institutions with valid internship clearance).
  • Education: Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in Finance, Economics, Maritime Studies, or Law.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling basics are a plus) and PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion, and a proactive start-up mindset.
