Duties
Support the Actuarial Analytics & Insights, Protection team in reporting, process improvement, and automation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Automating recurring tasks using programming
- Supporting initiatives to improve efficiency, processes, and documentation
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and programming
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive attitude toward self-learning and independent problem-solving
- Good understanding of actuarial valuation principles, i.e. having completed actuarial life contingency course
- Detail oriented with the ability to work to timelines
Preferred
- A minimum 3-month internship period with full-time or part-time availability for 2-3 days per week
