We're expanding our core design team and looking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Designer for Architectural projects to join our Singapore office. If you're passionate about hospitality design and eager to work on large-scale international projects, this is an excellent opportunity for you. With a focus on hospitality,we offer the chance to gain international experience while working on projects across Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, and Africa. You'll collaborate closely with Senior Interior Designer/Design Lead, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the development of innovative, high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- . Assist in the design of architectural projects, applying knowledge of design, construction detailing, building codes, materials, and zoning regulations.
- . Prepare detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, using AutoCAD proficiency in Revit is an asset.
- . Create 3D design models and support the production of final renderings using SketchUp.
- . Coordinate with technical consultants and contractors to ensure design consistency and technical feasibility.
- . Ensure all documentation complies with local codes, international standards, and project-specific requirements. Review and integrate design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- . Conduct internal technical reviews to ensure accuracy and quality before submission.
- . Maintain digital file management standards, and proper documentation archiving.
- . Support Project Architects and Associates in preparing drawings during Schematic design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation phases.
- . Mentor Junior Designers by providing guidance on technical matters.
- . Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary design teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Qualifications Skills
- . Understanding and knowledge of building construction, building systems
- . Experience in Hospitality design will have added advantage
- . Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and other design software.
- . Strong communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
- . Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- . Experience working on large-scale international projects is an advantage.
- . Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding junior designers
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- . Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Architecture.
- . Minimum 5 years of experience in Architectural design, with expertise in executing hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects from Concept to Construction Documentation.
