Job brief

We are looking for a creative Interior designer to undertake a variety of office and commercial space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The goal is to design practical and functional spaces but yet visually pleasing.

Responsibilities

1. Undertake design project from concept to completion, including design concept and space planning.

2. Define project requirements and schedule during the brief.

3. Interpret and translate customer needs into plans.

4. Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.

5. Recommend sample and mood products.

6. Supervise work progress.

7. Work closely with partners, designers, decorators, architects and builders.

8. Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices.

9. Knowledge of governmental/statutory regulations for office and commercial spaces.

Requirements

1. Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces of offices and commercial spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)

2. Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.

3. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.

4. Excellent portfolio of previous works.

5. Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.

6. Communication and presentation skills.

7. Project management skills.

8. BS degree in Interior Design or similar.
